- The statutory preventive health check is free once a year.
- Please fast before the first appointment; water is permitted.
- Coverage: People aged 18 and over who live in Austria can have a free preventive health check once a year, which includes a comprehensive programme of useful laboratory tests.
- Coverage of all additional blood tests by statutory health insurance requires a medical indication and a doctor's order. Whether the requested tests are covered must be clarified before the blood sample is taken.

- Blood samples can be taken from 7:30 am on regular practice days, Monday to Friday; closed on public holidays.
- Please fast if this was specified when booking or on your referral.
- Some inflammation markers, blood glucose and blood counts can be analysed directly at the practice.
- Other samples are sent to a partner laboratory; many results are available by the following day.

At this appointment, we assess the skin lesion and discuss whether removal at our practice is appropriate and possible. If so, we explain the procedure, discuss consent and arrange the surgery appointment.

Stitch removal and results
Removal of the stitches and discussion of the examination results.
Insurance coverage
Removal may be covered by statutory health insurance when medically indicated. We clarify eligibility at the initial appointment. Removal for purely cosmetic reasons is not covered.
